Hello! My name is Kristopher. I was reading your review of the 6000 STE AWD, when I noticed the date of your review of your car was posted this year.
I have two 1985 STE's and I thoroughly enjoy them. What I am noticing is how difficult it can be to get certain parts for the car. Last month (Sept. 08), I found an '87 for three hundred dollars and I stripped the car for the parts I need now and will in the future. What I remember, is there is someone who has a website just for the AWD cars. He is located in Oregon and is willing to help you if you come across any difficulties with your 'wonder car'.
