1989 Pontiac 6000 LE review from North America
"Cheap ride to the hills"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Headlight has a hole in it from being towed by a motor home. From the dealer it is $500, cheapest one found is $120. The front seat is a full bench seat, the console broke off, but I fixed it, and the springs on the drivers side of the seat are shot. Shocks are starting to really get soft.
General comments?
It's perfect for cargo space, I can fit two snowboards inside on a slant beside my subs. It will seat six so I can haul a bunch to the hills. It handles well on the ice. Over half of the km on it are from being towed from calgary to Arizona so it's as good as new. My friends mom owns one, but its loaded to the nuts, mines is as plain as they come.
