1989 Pontiac 6000 LE review from North America
"Great car too bad that they didn't keep making them"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A few things have gone wrong with the car. had to replace valve cover gasket a few times, but this last time I think we got it to not leak anymore. Just recently replaced the back brakes and the water pump. The next thing to replace on it is the oil pan (has a internal oil filter and my dad when he owned it before he gave it to me when he changed the oil filter he put it back on with a impact wrench so now we haven't been able to replace the filter in over 2 years. The horn stopped working after my hubby decided to go through a huge water puddle after a severe rain storm (jerk) and now I can't find the dang horn or figure out how to fix it (duh) and the fuse is not the problem.
General comments?
The car (exterior) may not look all that great seeing that it is a Michigan car and then became a NC/VA car, but other than that it runs great. I am in the market for a newer vehicle, but this car is a great running car and I would hate to part with it. The material is coming off the roof of the car, but as far as the rest of the inside of the car looks, it's in perfect condition (no holes in the seats)
