1990 Pontiac 6000 LE review from North America
"Cheap, Reliable, Powerful, Indestructible!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heater core blew out around 145,000.
Some paint chipping and minor body rust.
Intake manifold oil leak.
Transmission fluid leak (stop leak product fixed it though)
Cruise control stopped working.
General comments?
This thing is a tank! It cannot die! Ours was hit, bumped, and stolen, but was still a great, smooth ride!
The engine leaked a good amount of oil, but it had a lot of power for its size.
Great A/C with the old R12, cooled very quickly.
Reliable, never left me stranded.
All accessories worked, even after seventeen years.
It's body may not have looked great, but it could be trusted, it handled well, was fun to drive, and I wish we had not had to sell it.
