2001 Pontiac Aztek review from North America
"Good utility, disappointing reliability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Intake manifold gasket leak @ 75,000 miles.
Tie rod ends (both sides) @ 75,000 miles.
Automatic door locks non-functional, blown fuse @ 50,000 miles.
Cabin lights non-functional, blown fuse @ 50,000 miles.
General comments?
Interior is comfortable spacious and seems to be wearing well.
Car has good power for it's size and type.
Handles well.
Sheet metal is kinda flimsy, I bumped the front fender with my hip and dented it.
Electrical problems are a nightmare and the added intake manifold gasket issue is enough to make me not want to buy one of these again, even if it was still available. I would definitely NOT buy one used again.
