2001 Pontiac Aztek AWD review from North America
"The Best of an SUV, Minivan, and Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rear hatch doesn't release on the first try. This problem only acts up in cold weather. The gas cylinders are not engineered to be strong enough.
The radio volume control sometimes doesn't function properly. When you try to lower the volume the opposite happens. Likewise raising the volume sometimes lowers it.
The air bag light seems to come on for no reason on an intermittent basis.
General comments?
It's a hybrid between and SUV and a minivan, yet it drives with the comfort and handling of a passenger car.
Sporting a well thought out interior, it has Swiss army knife utility. It can carry sheets of 4x8!
