Don't buy it.
It is really hard to take this comment seriously when it composed of nothing, but one big, incoherent, run-on sentence. It leaves me to wonder if your inability to write is indicative of your inability to effectively deal with the dealership... thus the poor service you are getting from them. As such, this comment was useless.
I genuinely thought I was getting a terrific car when I purchased the 2003 Pontiac Aztek. Unfortunately it has turned into a nightmare. I have had to replace the head gasket system in the engine. The front drivers window would not come up so the entire motor system on the window had to replaced. The wheel bearing need replacing and I have been figthing for months with the dealer because the gauges for the speedometer, and gas, and temperature will not move. The radio light system also doesn't work now. All this when the car wasn't even purchased two years ago. I purchased the car at 25,000 miles with a 6 year warranty, but the dealer stated that none of these things were covered under warranty because there was 62,000 miles on the car. So all of this has been out of pocket. It's a nice looking car, but loaded with problems.
Does anyone out there have a pontiac aztek with a musty odor? It's coming from the A/C vents. we've had the condencer changed, a drier added, deodorizer and nothing helps. they say it's a bad design in the evaporizer core. which they changed that too. My Aztek is a 2003. Help! Smelly car.

My vehicle just turned 3 yrs old in Sept. Today I just found out it has a leaking head-gasket. Every one is telling me this shouldn't happen on this new of car.
I'm trying to find out if it's common with other Aztec's or Pontiac's in general.
I also had to replace my tires at 38,000 miles and they were 60,000 tires.
