2001 Pontiac Aztek AWD review from North America

My head gasket blew at around 60,000 Miles.

Gas gauge quit working at 70,000 miles.

Cruise control broke at 90,000 miles.

Hatch won't open without manual lift and push of button at the same time. (Always been)

CV boot leaked at first 10,000 miles.

Some lights on dash board don't work.

Gas cap is worn out and can't find replacements.

Rear struts replaced when new and still lots of knocking in back.

Fan blower only works on 4 and 5. Started at 60,000 miles (I think)

A/C needed replaced in 2003.

With All Wheel Drive, it is great through snow and rain.

I love my sunroof.

I've never had a flat tire. So I've stuck with same brand tires every 70,000 miles. Tiger Paws with the original aluminum wheels.

Shocks have always been a problem and CV boot leaks.

I love the room and it's great for my Service dog. Except he would have to be on the seat in order to see out the window. So now the seats in back are pretty dirty. Hard to clean.

Great camping trips. Convenient for traveling. Except I don't understand the storage. You can't fit anything in them, only the tire jack.

Stereo still works great and love the convenience for controls in the back for tailgating parties.

Seats have warn considerably and I'm only 117 lbs. so my weight is NOT the factor.

I drive 100 miles a day to work and back. My Aztek has over 156,000 miles and it's still running pretty good. It is comfortable and I like the size of it. Not too small and not too big.
