2001 Pontiac Aztek review from North America
"Overall I would rate it a 8 out of 10"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 3 years or around 16,000 miles my AC Condenser went out, but SUV was still under warranty. One year later the AC compressor went out on me after the warranty ran out and I was told it will cost $900.00 for a new one. To me this is unacceptable for two AC parts to go out before the vehicle is 5 years old. I still have no AC! Should be a recall on ALL AC parts.
Only a year after I bought the vehicle I had to have the passenger rear light assembly replaced because the top coating started to come off and it looked dull and ugly, now the rear driver light assembly is the same way, but I would have to replace at the cost of around $280.00.
Also had to replace the battery (without warning) after 4 years. Thought the battery had ware down indicators?
Now, 9-9-06 I can't get my rear hatch open, only lights flash when I press the remote rear button.
Called dealer and of course they said they don't know whats wrong and to bring it in so I waste more money.

General comments?
Love my Aztec, but think GM should talk to us all about these problems.
