1993 Pontiac Bonneville SE review from North America
"Fun - Bought newer, I will keep this one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission started to run in 3rd gear.
Throttle control seems to run at high idle.
Tires, two sets now.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel sending unit.
Wheel bearings.
Radiator leaked at head gasket.
General comments?
This car (knock on wood) has never been behind a tow truck. This Bonneville NEVER failed me. I love this car.
We put a new transmission at 275000 miles.
Tires never seem to wear out, dry rot.
Catalytic only needed to be fixed due to emissions testing in this state.
The new project is the fuel sending unit rusted away.
Radiator leak was fixed with J B Weld and a tooth pick.
It is a heavy cruiser that is nice to drive.
