1989 Pontiac Bonneville LE review from North America
"Good starter car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
-The fuel line needed replacing at 115,000 miles.
-The starter needed replacing at 117,000 miles.
-The windshield leaks.
-The trunk leaks.
-The A/C doesn't work.
-Had new tires put on at 115,000 miles.
-The transmission seals leak.
General comments?
-This car is a very comfortable car. The interior is very roomy and the car rides very nice.
-It runs OK, the idle is kinda rough though.
-The transmission is leaking a lot of fluid (up to a pint a week) and doesn't always downshift.
-The oil filter is a pain to get to.
-Other than the above mentioned things I would say this is a great car. I am getting the $1000 dollars I bought the car for and then some. I would recommend this car to any new driver.
