Left front wheel bearing went bad at 110,000 miles. The new one had something wrong with the anti-lock brake sensor. The new bearing went bad at 127,000 miles. It was under warranty.
General comments?
I love this car. It is very comfortable to drive and ride in!
I have owned this car for over five years and plan on having it many more.
It has needed what I would consider normal maintenance and repairs.
Here is a list of the repairs I have done.
Muffler twice
Tail pipe
Battery
Serpentine belt
Front rotors
Front brake pads twice
Rear brake pads
Left front wheel bearings twice
Left rear wheel bearings
Spark plug wires
Spark plugs twice
Ignition coils
Inner tie rod end
Outer tie rod end
Left rear ball joint.
I have also had to solder the transmission cooler line where it rubs on its hanger.
This car is very reliable and has lots of power. I will definitely look to buy another Bonneville.
