2001 Pontiac Bonneville review from North America
"I like it, but it is not usable after 59,000 miles if the windows do not close"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 59,000 miles my passenger rear window stopped working and dropped. A few weeks later the driver rear window also stopped working and dropped. Repair for the first window was estimated at $400 to fix or $60 to lock it into closed position. I chose to lock it into the closed position. Now that the other window has the same fault, I am not sure if for safety reasons whether or not I should also lock shut the second back window. Clearly the dropping windows is a design fault. Anyone else have any luck with help from GM?
