1986 Pontiac Fiero 2m6 review from North America
"Wickedly fast sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Headlight motors needed rebuilding. Also needed new relays for headlights.
General comments?
Rebuilt engine to 3.2 liters with high compression pistons and a mild cam. Also had performance chip, thermostat, ram air, underdrive pulley, headers, high flow catalytic converter, high flow exhaust system, and a 4.10 ratio transmission. Also has lowered suspension with new bushings, shocks, and struts. Also has front and rear swaybars. Never dynoed it, but I smoke anything that pulls up next to me. Love the mid-engine for weight transfer. Gives great traction. Handles way better than my Porsche did. Super fast, Great car.
