1988 Pontiac Fiero GT review from Sweden
"The car is fantastic and fun to drive, with a great design that will last through time"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lock up solenoid for the Automatic transmission, front steering knuckles on both sides changed. EGR tube cracked.
I fixed everything myself, the fiero is relatively easy to fix and all help you can wish for is to find on the internet. If the Chilton is leaving you stranded.
General comments?
I have made a lot of improvments on the car.
Upgrades so far:
Koni adjustable shocks.
Fiero Store lowering springs 1" lower.
Prothane Poly bushings all around.
Prothane swaybar bushings and rods all around.

Mikael Normans Dogbone.
Hose engine heater and electric heater fan inside, for winter driving.
Kosei RT Penta Rims 16x7".
Goodyear Eagle GSD 205/55/16 front.
Goodyear Eagle GSD 225/50/16 rear.
Sound system by Ljud på Hjul.
Jensen 2x150 W Amp. with crossover sub connection.
Autostudio speakers:
8" Sub in custom made box, fits well to the left of the center console on the passenger side.
2x4" woofers, 2x1" tweeters, separation filtering on smaller speakers, original stereo and rear speakers
My Fiero is a red 1988 GT and had 36000 Kilometres of Swedish road beneath it when I bought it, (22000 miles)
Originally sold in Indianapolis, imported to Sweden in 1989.

| 1988 - Fiero Coupe 2.5L four cylinder I love this car! It's the best investment I have made! |
| With the 2.8 replaced by a mildly modified 3.4 OHV the Fiero is able to perform as good as it looks! |
