1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am review from North America
"An un-respected pure muscle-car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I broke the tranny mount in the first 4 hours of owning the car.
I burnt out the clutch doing burnouts.
I've burned off 3 sets of tires.
Other than my abuse, my right front brake caliper siezed, which is the only real problem with it.
General comments?
I love this car, it boots around like mad. I'm really hard on it, but nothing serious has befallen it (yet!). I'm going to park it now for the rest of the winter and seriously customize it.
This is a perfect car for embarrassing Honda's and the like. It's got a 5-speed, t-tops, tinted glass, 350ci 5.7L, electric fans. And it makes my friends jealous!!
