1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT review from North America

To start off with the windows (electric) stopped working within a week of owning the car, next the wipers stop working, then head gaskets went, had to replace tires 2x within 2 mo do to bald spots.. and yes I got car alignment done both times, then the passenger side door wouldn't close when we finally got it to close it wouldn't open. then the locks wouldn't unlock and sometimes had to climb out the one and only window that did work. but the worse of it was yet to come.. car had been sitting in driveway all night started car.. let it warm up and drove to work. car sat in parking lot for a 9 hr day, started car and went back inside workplace within 3-5 min (literly) we smelled smoke we thought it was a heater at work, one of the co-worker open overhead door to discover my car was fully in gulfed in flames!!! the fire department came and had to smash all windows.. because the car locked it self and it was stilling running... it took the fire department almost 20-30 min to get close to the car because as stated before it was fully in gulfed and flames shooting out every wheres then took them another 45 min to put the fire out, needless to say the car was a total loss all I had was a back seat and a frame sitting on what was once rims... the cars a death trap!!!and should be recalled and all destroyed, what if I had been driving done the road with my children inside, the doors had locked themselves so there was noway of getting out.. couldn't roll windows down... they didn't work... long story short my power steering had went out 2 days before fire and somewheres it caused a electrical fire in my ignition, so if anyone has power steering problems or ignition problems...run...destroy car now before someone gets killed... i had only owned the car 4 mo and was using it as a second car for the winter months..
