2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Lousy car I ever had!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I can't wait to get rid of this car. Only have few more months left to pay off.
Last year winter, driver side window stuck behind the door panel because the plastic thing that hold the window to go up and down is broken. Must buy a whole new window motor, but I brought off from ebay which cost me 24.99 as brand new much cheaper on ebay that dealer's cost.
One screw on the top of the engine which cause my oil leak out is worned out the torque couldn't get it fit. So my father in law used white tape to make the screw tighter.
Auto Traction is now starting making noise if you spinned in wet, snow slippery road. It could ruin the transmission, I guess.
Hole on passenger side floor under carpet.
Weather strips on the window worned out and won't stay everytime I glue it.
BLINKER is driving me nuts it works sometimes and it won't work sometimes. What can I get that fixed!?
It's a very hell job to change the thermostat! And cost 600 dollars if you take it to the shop! Forget it!
General comments?
If you planned on car payment for the Grand AM I would not recommended this car for a dependable car. It's always appear a problem next. But it's fun and quick to drive!
