2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT review from North America
"Good car, but Pontiac dealers suck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
If the security light is blinking, the car won't start, and your lights all work... It may be that you set off the security on the car, which is an anti-theft system on the car. I have done this 2 times. It causes the starter to lock up due to turning the key too fast while trying to start the car. The key has a code in which gets scrambled because the computer did not have time to read the code...
How to fix it:
Turn the key to the on position for about 15 minutes.
After the 15 minutes, turn it directly to start. If it doesn't start, turn it to the off position then directly to start. If this doesn't work, you may have other problems with the car.
