1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Generally good"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission went at 127000. This was due to the car's transmission overheating from being overloaded on a 1000 mile trip.
Alternator went at 132000.
Power steering pump blew up at 149000.
Motor went at 149499.
Motor went again at 152566. Reason for the motor going so soon the second time was it was manufactured incorrectly.
General comments?
Even though I have had many costly repairs to make on this car, I rate it very well. My ignorance to the cars capabilities have led to those problems and when it is running, it has been very solid.
There is no rust whatsoever on the car. And I feel it has a comfortable interior and looks nice.
Comfortable on long trips. Has never let me down on a long trip either.
Maintenance is cheap and easy.

| A really great driving machine, wouldn't trade it for the world despite being temperamental. |
