1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Never again!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought the car home and had to have a hose replaced the next day which was leaking too much oil.
It idles rough.
It misfires.
It runs too rich.
The spark plugs have been replaced three times in two months due to carbon deposits.
It is currently parked in my garage because it will not start.
Here is a list of everything that has been replaced in the last two months:
Fuel injectors, coil pack (twice), coil cover (twice), electronic control module, computer, oxygen sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, knock sensor, throttle position sensor, battery, spark plugs, catalytic converter (needs to be replaced again after two weeks of being replaced the first time), and two different heater hoses.
General comments?
I have contacted the dealer whose only comments are "Sorry you are having problems".
It has nickel and dimed me to death.
