1995 Pontiac Grand Am Sedan SE review from North America
"Great for a first car, decent aftermarket support"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Let's see, I've had a weird brake problem since I got the car, I've been told that it's either a ABS system, Master Cylinder, or brake line problem. I've learned to adapt with it and isn't really a problem anymore. When I first got the car from a used car dealership it failed emissions due to a bad cat. converter. Dealer replaced it. Since then I haven't had any problems with the car, still running strong at 99k miles.
General comments?
I wanted to get a little more performance out of my quad4 engy so I slapped a cold air intake and non restrictive air flow muffler onto her. With stock parts, the handling is pretty crappy. Might get 17" rims with wider tires. Other than finding a junkyard with another grand am or oldsmobile achieva with a quad4 H.O. engine to do an engine swap to get more performance, I like the car.
