1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Get a grand am if you like to sit on the shoulder"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There were many problems with this car.
I went threw three alternators.
The water pump sprung a leak.
I had to get two new radiators.
The car constantly overheated and yet no shop or even the dealer could fix the problem. It seemed to be a mystery to why it was overheating. The car was constanly in the shop and leaving me on the side of the road. I also had to rebuild the transmission at 70,000 miles. The brakes on this car were also horrible. It seemed like I replaced the pads almost every month.
General comments?
I treated this car very good and never abused it. This is a good car to stay away from. My girlfriend has a 97 which also had major problems and my friend had a 95 like mine and he got rid of his for the same reasons.
