1988 Pontiac Grand Am LE review from North America
"Exellent car for new drivers and cheap on gas"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The common problems we have had with this car is the coil and the transmission over heating. The coils burn out every 7 to 8 years and the transmission would over heat and the care would suddenly shut off while you are still driving it.
General comments?
The car handles pretty well and the car has had no real problems with it the transmission just had to have a wire disconnected on it and the coil needed bigger wire from the coil to the spark plug. the stereo was very easy to change and wir a new amp in the car as the arm rest when take out gives you access to the hole floor.
