"Run away as fast as you can!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I don't even know where to begin!!! This car has been nothing but problems. I bought the car for $1,100 and granted it was old, but I have spent almost $4,000 in repairs alone! Lets see, the ignition module was bad,

the starter module was bad,

new brakes,

the oil was mixing with the coolant and caused my engine to explode oil and I had to get a new engine (parents smart choice)

2 motor mounts were broken

New muffler and catalytic converter (TWICE ON BOTH!!!)

my transmission is going bad and the wheel makes a crazy noise when I turn it to hard.

The seal on the passenger side door is bad and when it rains I have a lake inside the car.

General comments?

I really tried to love this car, really.

The interior is nice and very comfortable.

It handles pretty well, quick and all that, but the tears and constant money (college student!) I have had to shell out are not worth anything this car has to offer me. I just hope I can get another car before it breaks down on my AGAIN

People a bargain in the beginning may not always be worth it.

Ignition Problems with the one I had too!!! Yeah, advice from the wise, "Don't buy that P.O.S." And NO MATTER how good of condition, RUN!! I had so many problems and I couldn't afford to fix it so I ended up having to junk it as it barely ran, was loud, and smoked... Basically just don't do it.

I will have to disagree with what was said. If the car is properly maintained, it will keep going. I bought mine for $100 (not a typo, really, a hundred dollars) and it has well over 300,000 miles on it, and being that I am a college student and work, I keep putting more on. Regular maintenance, frequent oil checks and reasonable driving, logically, keep a car running, and after having mine for a year, the only thing I had to replace were the original struts it had after crossing bad railroad tracks. Other than that, it has given me no problems whatsoever, and drives like a normal car with nothing wrong with it. Quick, fairly agile for a sedan, and great on gas (averaging almost 30 mpg for me).
