1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Great performance for a great price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really has gone wrong, other than needed new rotors, and sway bars, and a slight leak from the transmission pan.
Also the drivers seat is a bit pushed in on the back. Leaked a little bit in the rain, and sometimes a bit of a puddle would form on the drivers side floor - very hard to find leak.
General comments?
I guess the V6 in this car really gives it a lot of punch, my tires aren't the best (bridgestones still with plenty of tread) - and in the rain about 50% of the time I go the tires spin from the power, it just wants to go like a rocket.
Also, the handling is very firm, the steering is tight.
Gas mileage is not the best, but that's probably only because I like to drive it hard. Its just too much fun to leave rice burners in the dust.
