1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Grand Am are lemons"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Grand Am is a lemon!
Everything has gone wrong with my Grand Am since I have owned it for 4 years.
These are the things that needed fixing:
Water pump
Power stearing pressure hose
Tensor @ the suprentine belt
Alternator
TRANSMISSION...this cost me $3200.
Brakes go very quickly, I need new rotatars and pads every 20 000 km.
Noises come from everywhere. From the
back and a fast nocking sound from the
engine (sounds like knock, knock, knock)
I have sent $7000.00 in repairs in 4 years of owning this piece of junk.
NEVER EVER WILL I BUY ANOTHER GRAND AM.
NEVER EVER WILL I BUY AN AMERICAN MADE CAR.
General comments?
The car looks good, yet it is way too costly to maintain. Everyone I know that has a Grand Am has had many many problems.
