The speakers have blown twice since I got the car. Dealer replaced them, but it took several weeks both times.
The air conditioning has malfunctioned a couple times. It justs stops blowing cool air.
This is the second GT Grand Am I have had of this body style, both of them have had trouble with leaks. I have had the back carpet replaced in each car, as whenever there is any significant rain, the back floorboard is soaked.
This is a nice looking car. I have had two of them, so I like the looks of it.
Both cars have had similar problems, in general Pontiac's seem to have wacky stuff that goes wrong with them.
I might consider purchasing another GM car in the future, but not at this time.
I have also had many problems with G.M.A.C., their financing company. I did not even know how badly they messed up my account until the lender for my new car let me know. (Another American car company, so we'll see how this one works out!)
Sounds to me like maybe you listen to the music too loud or are trying to push more wattage out the speakers than what they can handle. And for the A/C, you may need to re-charge your antifreeze coolant. We had to do that with our 1992 GMC truck. Have a nice day.
