Originally I was impressed with the styling and performance of the vehicle.
However; since I purchased the vehicle it has been in the shop 18 times for various mechanical problems.
The quality of this vehicle is very poor. I cannot recommend this vehicle to anyone who plans on keeping it for more than a year or two.
I was wondering what ever happened with the fuel gage in your car? I have a 2001 Grand Am SE and the gas gauge registers all over the place. And when the car is idling I can smell a soft gas smell. Please email me at hotheat78@yahoo.com to give me more information.
I have had my 2001 Grand Am GT since it rolled off the lot with 1 mile on it and have not had problems with it. Before the oil got hot I had it drop off at my house and changed the oil with Penzoil Synethic 100%. It now has over 100,000 mile and still going strong. BRH.
