1993 Pontiac Grand Am SE modded to W41 review from North America
"Bargain bargain and amazing seats!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well the only thing I can say that has gone really wrong with the car is that the driver's side window crank teeth was chewed up, so drivers window can't go down.
Alternator replaced when it blew (approx 10+ years on original alternator so not bad!)
General comments?
The stock OHC 8 valve engine is a bit underpowered (120hp) but VERY reliable. HAS NEVER blown anything. Always revved it up to redline and never blew.
Abused the crap out of it and never burned oil or cracked a cylinder head.
KILLED crappy hondas with my SOHC Quad 4 8-valve little baby hahahahahahaah.
My car is 4 door... lol imagine that passing your civic with the massive wing!
Decided on a new engine for it because I wanted MORE power. New engine is still a Quad 4 but a W41 model High output.
**UPDATE*** New engine keeps up with mustangs & corvettes. 4 doors baby!
