1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America

When I first got my car, I noticed it idled really rough. I replaced the factory spark plugs with more expensive split fire ones from Auto Zone. This helped, and also made my car a little faster.

I also bought a cold air intake, which made my car a lot faster, and saved on gas mileage.

My drivers side seat was broke when I bought my car, so I put silver Type-S leather seat covers on and it looks really good.

The light in the CD player went out so I just put an aftermarket one in.

My A/C and heater won't work on the setting 1 or 2, just like I've heard other people comment on. I don't know why this is, but I'd like to get it fixed.

The lock cylinder broke and my security light came on in my car, and it wouldn't start sometimes. It cost me around $100 to replace.

My passenger side mirror just fell off one day, but my boyfriend replaced the bolts and tightened them up, so it hasn't happened again.

I just replaced my rotors at 99,000 miles and I haven't heard one sound since. The only thing I don't like is that they turn gold.

My struts were busted and made a lot of noise, so I replaced them with Monroe Sense-a-tracks from Advance Auto Parts.

My factory muffler was old and black, so I now have a chrome muffler on my car. Even though it is loud, it saves on gas mileage, and makes my car faster.

All together, I love my car. Every car is going to have problems and mine have just been minor ones. My car runs great, especially after all the minor changes I put on it.
