I have owned 14 cars over the last 25 years. This car is the worse one ever, by far
I bought it used, and the money I've spent on it, I could have made payment on a brand new car. Besides all the repairs and money I've spent on it, there are other problems around the corner. It clunks if I step hard on gas, which is either a motor mount or drive shaft problem. I hope it lasts 4 more months so I can trade it in.I should have read this site before I purchased vehicle
Yes, but it had 119,000 miles when you bought it.
And all that happened right after you ran it in the wall...ha.
I own a '96 Grand Am se 2.4L auto, I love my car more than life itself. I also bought mine used and it had well over 200.000 kms on it. The only thing wrong with it, was the bearings. Unfortunately, we had a misshap in the winter, and my passenger side axle is busted. Not to expensive to fix, but I will not sell it to buy another car. I had taken it in to the dealership and other shops for estimates, and they all agree, my motor and transmission is as good as when it was first made. I hope you can solve your problems, but I believe it all comes down to buyer beware, look into the background of the vehicle, and if you think there may be a problem with it, then there is. My car was first a rental car, then a friend bought it, she took great care of it. I have every paper for it, right back to the dealership it was first sent to. I paid $1200. for my baby, the month after my friend made her last payment equaling over $30,000. Again, it goes back to buy what you know has been looked after.
