1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America

The oil and the coolant were mixing together, causing the coolant to be low constantly at around 58,000 miles ($550)

The Pass Lock system had to be reprogrammed at around 58,500 miles

This was really annoying I would try to start the car and the security light would come on and I would have to wait till it went off to start it, which would usually be about 15 minutes. ($300)

The coolant started leaking at 60000 miles ($600)

Both of the power steering lines had to be replaced, because one blew out at around 63000 miles ($400)

Both of the side mirrors have had to be replaced ($75 each)

The reverse lights always fill with water.

The driver's side tail light goes out constantly!

The check tire pressure light will not go off even though I have reset the system and checked all of the tires for proper pressure.

The widows have gotten very scratched just from rolling them up and down.

The paint on the rear bumper started chipping off at 64,000 miles.

I love how this car looks and when there is nothing wrong with it, it runs great. It is a very quick car and fun to drive. The only downfall of this car is the fact that it is terribly unreliable. I would highly recommend not buying this car! It has been nothing, but a headache!
