1993 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Junk Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel Pump has been replaced 2 in 2 years.
Fuel Filter has to be replaced once every 6 months.
Tilt wheel latch has broke and steering wheel moves up and down freely.
Cannot run air conditioning because the car stalls and dies.
Car does not do well when there is more than 2 people in the car.
Had to replace ABS system due to faulty brakes.
Car stalls out when it is cold.
Have to put car in neutral when sitting at a red light.
Engine Coils had to be replaced because they burned out.
Ignition Housing and Ignition Casing had to be replaced.
General comments?
This car is a really good car when it decides to run. I really like the car, it's a very stylish and young looking car. But it just seems the more money we put into the car the more that tears up on it.
Within the past 7 months I have had to have the car towed either home or to the mechanic.
