1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Does the good outweigh the bad?"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fog lights needed to be replaced.
Both rear lower control arms have collapsed bushings.
Front struts have decompressed.
Right front wheel bearing loosens on bumpy roads.
Factory stabilizers allow too much roll and encourage excessive tire wear.
Exhaust leaks. Resonator goes bad within 6 months.
General comments?
I've put about $900 CDN into the engine of my Grand Am and I can take Grand AM GT's and V6 Mustangs.
There is a factory recall on the head gasket (for those wondering) which the dealer will replace free of charge if notified by GM Canada (you need to call Gm Canada and give them location of dealer).
I hate domestic vehicles.. but this one seems okay.

| A really great driving machine, wouldn't trade it for the world despite being temperamental. |
