I had to replace the drive belt at 100,000 miles.
Replaced front brake pads at around 105,000.
Replaced spark plugs and wires at 106,000.
Replaced exhaust system at 115,000.
Transmission blew at 119,00 but that's due to lead foot.
This car is pretty quick for a grand am.
Very room inside and plenty of room for family or friends.
This car is faster than most stock and modified Japanese cars.
For a 2005, how did you manage to get over 100,000 miles in such a short amount of time?
You must have entered the wrong year information for this car because there is no way that you bought a 2005 Grand Am with 98,000 miles on it..
You'd be suprised at how many people put in the incorrect year for their car on this site.
IT's a common problem amoung carsurvey. org posters. They will post on the current year of ownership. Not the year the car was manufactured.
I highly doubt it is a 2005 but I have a car for work purposes only and in a year and a half have put on 80000 miles now people drive a lot farther then they used to.
Regardless of what year it is, it sounds like you've gotten extremely good service out of it. My Japanese car didn't even make it that far!! I now drive a Grand Am.
If you drove your Grand am 50 thousand miles a year you must be living on the streets by now due to vagrancy.
