When I got this car it had rust on the back two quarter panels, a cracked ground effect, rust on the trunk with an ugly sport rack, and the rims were looking pretty crummy. Got the rust, cracked ground effect fixed, got the rims repainted and got the sport rack taken off for only $410.00.
The second day I had the car I was driving around and the exhaust from the cat back fell off. Replaced that and only put single exhaust back on for the time being costing $298.00.
The hood flew up twice because of a faulty hood latch. Good thing for full insurance.
At 139,000 miles the engine coolant hoses rusted completely out. Two days later the car still leaked coolant and took it to the mechanic and he couldn't find the leak so he put stop leak in and that still didn't fix it so he looked and he noticed that one of the hoses wasn't on completely.
Winter was coming and the vents didn't push out any of the air so I got that blown out at 138,000 miles.
Car idles rough getting that fixed soon, something to do with a sensor.
It's a great car to have I would definitely buy another one.
I am just curious how do Rubber Hoses Rust? Do you mean the Hose Clamps perhaps?
