1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First thing I noticed on car when I drove from dealership was very slow acceleration
The volume knob on radio gets wacky and sometimes impossible to turn volume up or down.
The CD player never worked when I bought it and and sometimes makes it hard to see what radio station I have on because its gets choppy.
The car is very horrible on gas sometimes I've had to make double trips to gas station in one day.
When I turn my car on sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes for my gage clusters to come on so I have to sit and wait or else I won't know how fast I'm going becasue my speedometer won't move and my mileage won't come on.
My daytime running light don't work anymore and if I'm parked in front of a window you can see it flicker on and off.
General comments?
Even though I have had problems with the car I consider it very reliable because even with 112,000 miles on it it has never cut off or left me stranded.
From what I have read fro the volkswagon Jetta owners I'm a lot happy I brought a grand am instead of a jetta.
