1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"Rusted"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well I've had this car for about a year now and I've had a lot of headaches with it. You know, little annoying problems. Nothing major or anything. The car was fine when I bout it and test drove it. It wasn't until after I got it it started to break.
So far the problems I've had hae been.
-New Brake pads and rotors $100 CDN.
-new light switch in the steering column (the interior lights and headlamps would blink witht the turn signal, sometimes lights would not go on at all) $300 CDN.
-Replaced belt tensioner as it was siezed and making a whining sound $200 CDN.
-Replaced door lock switches as they would not lock.
-It leaks oil from the head.
-A/C does not work.
-Front wheel bearings need replacement.
-ABS will not work right.
-Check engine light always on.
-Needs new egr valve.
Okay I think that's about it.
General comments?
Personally I like this car and feel that when I get everything done on it it will be a reliable and decent car. It'll just cost me a bit to do.

| A really great driving machine, wouldn't trade it for the world despite being temperamental. |
