2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT review from North America
"Well tuned automobile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lets see nothing major has gone wrong with this car that wasn't forced upon. The power steering pump broke due to the fact that I was blowing cookies in a parking lot and cut the wheel too hard. Since I've had it breaks and tires ahve only been replaced twice, foudn good tires nad stuck with them. Alternator died due to the fact that the battery has been drained quite a few times and then replenshied. Fuel pump went. And because the fuel pump was going the car would shut itself down in order to save the fuel pump. so you would have to sit on the side of the road for awhile and then attempt to restart the car. I've gotten my car up to 140mph with little vibration or wobbling if you will.
General comments?
This car is great. I don't have a single complaint. For all those people that have had a bad apple. Sorry to hear that because not all cars are built solid. there is always going to be the defective cars in teh group. This car has ran beautifully since I have had it. it's well taken car of and even driven in the winter time and still have no problems. I wouldn't be surprised if this car ran for another 100k miles. I would suggest this car for anyone it has a lot of power, but has class. It's easy to upgrade and mod as well as fix if you know what you are doing.
