2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"I would not recommend the car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My 2001 Grand Am has had numerous issues. A few months ago I had to have the ignition replaced. I was told that maybe my keys were too heavy and broke it. I do not even have key chains on my ring. It is pretty light. This cost about $430 dollars including towing.
Then, this past October my driver's side window fell into the door. We took the door panel off and found that the clip had broken. This previous March, my passenger side rear window did the same thing. Then a week ago my passenger side front window also fell into the door and I heard the plastic clip crack and fall into my door. I now only have one functioning window in my car. I am going to the dealer tomorrow and buying new clips. I hope that is the only thing that will be needed to repair the window.
General comments?
The car is good for the most part.
But the recent repairs are getting more and more serious.
