2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT review from North America
"Best of the body style, and one nice car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The original Bose head unit stopped playing CDs about 15000 miles ago, but luckily I still had the extended warranty. Took it to the dealer, they diagnosed the problem and ordered a new unit from Delco. When it came in they replaced it free of charge like I hoped.
Recently the passenger rear window has stopped working. Dread trouble-shooting that! Sun-roof sometimes has issues opening and closing, but overall it still works. That's it so far.
It is in need of new wheel hubs soon, based on noise I hear, and slop in the front wheel bearings. Figure that will be a good time for a front end rebuild (new hubs, rotors, pads, outer tie rod ends and anything else that is looking frayed).
General comments?
The car performs great and handles equally well.
I've been running Mobile 1 10W-30 and a K&N air and oil filter since day one. It was rated for 200hp, but feels like a lot more.
Love this car!
