1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP review from North America
"Pontiac performance, luxury, and quality at its best!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had two minor electrical problems with the car. The light on one of the steering wheel controls went out and the passenger side power window shorts out occasionally. Other than that I haven't had any problems. General maintenence is fairly cheap, especially if you perform the labor yourself.
General comments?
This car is all around solid. You can't beat performance and realiability for the price in my opinion. The engine pulls very hard and I have personally smoked a 1993 Corvette, a 5.0 mustang, and plenty of Honda Civics, and Ford Probes. The interior is awesome, so awesome in fact that it has spoiled me. I find myself criticizing the interior of other cars' interior that I ride in. I would recommend this car to anyone!
The only problem I have with this car is that a 5 speed or 6 speed transmission is not available.
