1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP review from North America
"The GTO reincarnated"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing, the car is dead reliable!
General comments?
I have always loved the great "shark" type styling of the Grand Prix. The supercharger just adds to the appeal. Originally I was in the market for a new Dodge Intrepid, but after sampling the tire-smoking prformance availible with the GTP, my preference quickly changed.
Back in the day when I was in high school my car was a 67 Pontiac GTO. I never forgot the thrilling surge of acceleration, nor the throaty growl of the exhaust. I can now relive the good old days in my new GTP. Once experienced, you'll get hooked smoking tuned Civics and 5.0 Mustangs from the light with the AC blowing, and some great tunes kickin' in the background. All the better to serve up some fun on a relatively boring weekday.
