I enjoy the Montana. It is very comfortable for long rides. I feel very fortunate in that the problems I have had... have not caused me a whole lot of grief although they have been costly. I am avoiding taking it to be looked at for fear of the next bill.
I happened to notice that the quick oil change place had to top up my rad on two visits and when I had to get some work done (minor accident) I mentioned this and they checked... intake something was leaking so they changed them for me. Cost $2000. I feel fortunate because I was not driving down the road plus I was just out a vehicle the one day that it was already in the shop. Whew!
The sliding door - well it makes this "POP" sound occassionally when it opens. As if it is out of alignment or something. I'll ignore that - am thankful I only have one power door.
Do you know that when it snows and it piles up on the roof... when it warms up a little and starts to break free ~ if you stop at a red light, if you are unlucky to be on a little bit of downward incline, the snow will come down the windshield & wedge in the wiper area. The snow is too heavy for the wipers to push off and presto, you are now unable to see anything. Thankfully I was stopped & in a small town.
I had the rad done because of the accident so hopefully I will not have any more problems. (although I wonder at 80,000 ~ if it will break. I guess I should save for it)
I bought it because it is a nice riding van for long distance trips. I am happy with it ~ I am sorry to hear that it has SO many problems as I can't afford anything more any time soon. I just do not know what else to buy that also does not have a list of problems.
Are you seriously complaining about snow sliding down from the roof? Really? Here's an idea, stand on something and WIPE THE SNOW OFF YOUR ROOF BEFORE YOU LEAVE!
