1999 Pontiac Montana review from North America
"Don't even consider buying this van!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Windshield leaks.
Coolant leaks out.
Air Bag Light will not go off.
Cam Shaft is broken.
Front end makes loud popping sound.
Brakes need constant repair.
General comments?
We have had nothing, but trouble from this van.
The brakes constantly need replacing.
It does not have a good resale value.
I cannot trade the vehicle in because it is not worth near what is owed on it.
The cam shaft is broke into and the mechanic advised that it is due to a manufacture defect. We contacted the Pontiac Corp. and they said that the owner of the vehicle needs to "step up" and pay for repairs. They do not seem to care that they have created and sold a very poor automobile. I will never purchase another GM product. I will go with a Nissan or Honda. The van is currently in the shop and will cost around $2,000 (or more) to repair.
