2000 Pontiac Montana review from North America
"Nice car with good mileage, poor engineering and durability, objectionable customer service"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Mass air flow sensor when nearly new.
Intake manifold gasket at 45000km.
Intake manifold gasket at 60000km.
Power locks at 65000km.
Right rear power window intermittent since new.
General comments?
This van is the short version and has good power handling and brakes.
Easy to drive and good visibility.
I have had a few pesky electrical problems and a problem with the lower intake manifold gasket failing 2 times.
I get great service at one dealer and very poor service at another.
Corporate GM customer service rates an honest 0 out of 10. I waited 2 years to buy a Solstice and I can honestly say that my experience with corporate GM customer service was so bad that I don't think that I can bring myself to buy another GM product.
