1999 Pontiac Montana SE Van review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head lights are terrible. Water/condensation builds up in them as well as the lighting is not where needed. It is in the sky criss-crossed.
I have talked with other Montana owners & inspectors, & they say this is common with Montana Vans. Very UnSafe drivng conditions during night time. Fog lights are safer lighting than head lights.
Has this been a Montana Recall? Everybody who drives my van, says the lighting is terrible.. I agree. I drive the other vehicles during dark hours. So does my spouse due to unsafe conditions and poor lights.
Auto repair shops tell me the bulbs are fine. It is just the type of lights that Montana Vans have and they hold condensation. To replace it should not be a common thing and ir's very expensive. Any other complaints?
Also the transmission sounds like a slipping noise after driving in a lot of stop & go traffic. Fine on the highway?.. Per transmission Tech, transmission appears FINE.. What's the problem? Other complaints?..
Thanks... Judy.
