2000 Pontiac Montana MONTANA review from North America
"The van, except for noted main complaint is OK"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1. Leak above rear passenger door Repaired under warranty. It was the rear side window seal.
'
2. headlights DO NOT light the road. Notice I stated DO NOT. Still very poor lights. The day van was purchased we left on a trip. We wound up driving some after dark and that`s when the problem of poor lighting showed up. Two trips to the dealer before we found a defective right (passenger) lens. It was not in focus. After replacement, still very poor lights. I complained to General Motors after repeated trips to the dealer who, by the way was and still is exceptionally nice. I am very surprised to find no other complaints here regarding lighting. Am I the only person with poor lights?
3. Leak above rear/tailgate. Showed up after warranty was out. I sealed it with silicone, not leaking now.
This about concludes my comments except to say from what I am reading I should consider myself very fortunate SO FAR.
Thanks.

General comments?
Very good gas mileage----20 mpg. in town, 26+ on highway.
The lights has soured me on Pontiac, the fact that nothing can be done. Design problem with reflectors.
