1985 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham review from North America
"Awesome abuse-taking monster"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator was bad when I received the car.
Lost a lot of old belts.. Oh well.
General comments?
This car would stand up to more abuse than any other car ever built. With exeptions to the Presidents Limo.
Every single part of the car had dents on it, ie- doors, hood, trunk, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, even the roof. All had dents.
It had gotten "wrecked" before. But that only put the dents there. It still ran though.
I admit that at being 16, I didn't know what I was doing with the car, dindn't take care of it at all.
Even with the misuse and it not being taken car of, this car was one hell of a beast!
I didn't usually drive it fast, but when I needed to go 30-40 miles in 15-20 minutes, It would be there to help me out. (that and some fast gravel road turning)
I really wish that I had one of these in almost mint condition. I would for sure take care of it since I realize how problem free it was.
